About the role

Senior full-stack product engineer to own key product surfaces end-to-end across mobile + backend—core flows, polish, and launch readiness—so the mirror and skin intelligence feels great in users’ hands.

What you’ll do

  • Build and ship core product flows end-to-end (mobile + backend).
  • Own UI polish, performance, reliability, and edge cases.
  • Partner with backend/ML/device as features integrate across the stack.
  • Turn ambiguous product goals into shipped iterations with crisp scope and tradeoffs.
  • Establish a high quality bar for launch readiness (instrumentation, testing, stability).

What we’re looking for

  • Strong product engineering taste and a bias to ship.
  • Senior-level generalist who can move across mobile + backend (mobile experience a bonus, not required).
  • High autonomy in early-stage environments; comfort owning the whole problem.
  • Strong fundamentals in debugging, performance, and product-quality craft.
  • AI-native workflow for research, prototyping, and debugging (with good judgment).

Bonus points

  • Mobile (iOS/Android) experience, especially performance and polish.
  • Experience with connected devices / Bluetooth / real-time capture flows.
  • Experience building onboarding, retention loops, or subscription products.

What success looks like

First 30 days

  • Understand the product surface area and identify top UX + reliability gaps.
  • Ship 1–2 meaningful improvements to core flows or polish.

First 60 days

  • Own a core end-to-end flow (including edge cases + instrumentation) and ship it.
  • Raise the quality bar with better performance/stability and clearer product metrics.

First 90 days

  • Establish a predictable iteration loop and ship a set of launch-critical improvements.
  • Propose the next 2–3 iterations based on user value and engineering constraints.
